Salesforce Classic transition to Lightning was a significant solution for Cottonwood. Even reluctant brokers and traders resistant to change welcomed the new Salesforce Lightning over the previously used Classic version.
Problem:
Client purchased and ran Salesforce Sales Cloud like an expensive rolodex for five years. The company used Salesforce to store contact information for a portion of their clients, but the core of their investment portfolio’s data was stored in an entirely different database.
Client had a problem and quickly realized they needed to integrate the data from both systems into one functioning system.
Solution:
SaltClick was hired and contracted to work with the previous SI company until the integration was complete. Together we met deadlines in a timely manner, communicated steps of the process, and finished tasks still left to be done. Once the data integration was where it needed to be, SaltClick cleaned up tens of thousands of duplicate data entries clogging the system with unreliable information. SaltClick worked with stakeholders and users to remap the configuration into an integrated centralized system that works for them.
The Salesforce Lightning transition was a significant solution for Client. Even reluctant brokers and traders resistant to change welcomed the new Salesforce Lightning over the previously used Classic version.
Results:
Sometimes a simple, “wow” is all it takes to know we’ve helped. Client said just that. Employees were amazed they had this tool for five years. They didn’t know the Salesforce system could make their daily work lives more efficient. Instead of having to login to five systems, all of the information they need is in one place.
Service agents could now see where to focus their efforts on their dashboard, highlighting top accounts or those without activity to make smarter sales decisions. Now that they could use Salesforce to its full potential, Client felt as if they entered the 21st century with SaltClick’s assistance.
